When you feel discouraged- disconnected from courage-afraid-fearful- Do NOT revert back to your old ways of thinking and doing things. Although it may look like going back to the old way is easier, it is not what's best. God understands that the load feels extremely heavy, the weight of your trials seem to be pressing down harder on you but He said be Encouraged-full of courage, full of faith. How do you do this when so much seems or appears to be going wrong or maybe not the way we want it to go? The Word said draw nigh unto Him and He will draw nigh unto you.
God also said you must remember that HE is your burden bearer so you must do as He said in 1st Peter 5:7 and cast your cares on Him because He cares for you. The Lord wants you to totally surrender your trials, your tests, your struggles to Him today. Right now!
HOW? Take your HANDS off of it. Stop trying to make your own way out of the situation. He is the way maker, Jehovah Jireh, your provider. He is the God that will supply all of your needs according to HIS riches in Christ Jesus!
You must believe that He is the way out of what’s troubling you and into what’s ordained for you!
Take your MIND off of it. Paul said in Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Isaiah 26:3 says Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Beloved, God wants you to focus your mind on HIM!
Finally, take your Mouth off of it! There is no need to speak about your problems every time they arise. You must watch what you say because what you say is what you will continue to see. But HOW? Speak the word of God concerning that issue and magnify-make greater, make larger the God you serve and His word- Make that bigger than your problem. Hebrews 4:12 says For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
If you speak the living and active word, you will find that it is also living and activated in your life!
I pray you've been blessed and persuaded to go forward and not revert back to the things of old. The old things will yield you the same old results but press forward putting your HANDS to the new work God has for you, setting your MIND on the new ways God desires for you and using your MOUTH to speak the new that God wants for you into existence!
